I had the BHWT hen house ones last year - I really liked them.

What kind of design do you like Clare?

Oh...just checked and they don't have them this year - it was the ones with the henhouse and all the little stockings pinned up outside.

I was thinking of something photographic - I've just been surfing for some, but can't find what I like, except by buying from the States.

 

I can find plenty of 'chickens in the snow' photos, so might end up making my own - which is no small task when I need 40! failing that, I might get some from Oxfam and stuff the chicken idea.

I don't do religion (well not conventional ones anyway) and want to give to a charity if possible. I always do Send a Cow presents for my sisters children as they have far too many toys anyway, so it's a logical step.

I might have to ditch the Chicken theme and just get a charity card - the send a cow one is good and so is one from Oxfam... Hmmmm

I have also searched for chicken christmas cards, I don't do cutesy or

religous cards either. No luck, so I bought some from the Marie Curie

cancer shop, they are 'Seasons Greetings' and the pictures are photographs

of brussel sprouts made into little christmas trees quite a 'green' theme

Have just taken delivery of my cards...in support of St Lukes Hospice, Sheffield, a charity very dear to my heart as my Dad died there.

 

Lovely cards every year, to suit all pockets. Many designed by local artists who give their services free of charge.

Clare, I have a friend who does fab cards that I think you would like. There aren't any on his web site though so I think he may not be doing any this year (he and his wife have a new born). I'll make further enquiries though.
