little chickadee
My Hubbie has just managed to get hold of tickets to see TopGear being recorded on Wednesday and I'm going with him. We have to be there from 2 - 7pm - 5 hours of Jeremy Clarkson my dream come true!!!! He seems excited though - has anyone else ever been to one of these recordings. Should be fun though I expect. Hubbie has to take either me or another woman as they have to have 50/50 men/women for the audience
chocolatedog
I love that programme!! I think Richard Hammond is the cutest!
BeckyBoo
It's James for me every time. . . . . . . . . . . . . KIDDING!! I think it's great, we're on the waiting list for tickets, OH doesn't have a choice, it's take me or I'll go with someone else!! Hope you have a great time, someone at work went and said it's really good, very chilled and laid back. If we ever get any tickets we're lucky cos it's only about 10 miles from us, you've got quite a trek, worth it tho - the Hamster, mmmmmmmmmm! Altho I do think he needs a hair cut! little chickadee
I must admit that hammond is definately very cute. We were on the waiting list but were contacted today as there had been a cancellation.
CatsCube
So jelous, I tried to get tickets for this before and failed, its really popular and they are like rocking horse poo to get. Oh to be that close to Richard Hammond mmmmm
Ain't Nobody Here
Oh no! I'm really sorry, but Jeremy Clarkson makes my skin crawl! And I have no interest in cars whatsoever (well, I drive one, but couldn't care what it was). Agree that Richard Hammond is cute though. He was great on Brainiac but I think the script was written for him; didn't like him so much on the chatshow (?) he did when he spoke for himself. But who's listening to what he's saying . AMO
Lucky you! I think TG is the funniest thing on TV - next to Ant and Dec ](I do have a bit of a crush on James May )
Krysia
I would go in your place little chickadee I hate car programmes but am always highly amused by all 3 of the presenters. I am a fan of clarkson but a bigger fan of Richards and I agree Mrs Bertie we need to get the ridiculous Mop cut off!
little chickadee
It's the hair that I like. Unfortunately hubbie can't grow his because it's as curly as clarksons!
Cinnamon
The Hamsters hair is great,& I am afraid its the only reason I watch the show It makes him look like the cute little one from Take That
Guest
I thought about going but I don't have anyone to go with and I'm not sure about standing around for 5 hours either, mind you it would be worth it to see Jezza and the boys. My babysitter can get tickets - his dad is in charge of OB sound for the BBC, can get tickets for pretty much anything.
ubereglu
I love Top Gear, it's so funny, it's not really all about cars like it used to be and is better now! I loved the one where they drove around the BBC in that teeny car which did 100 miles to a gallon of petrol, it was so cool!
Rhapsody
I used to hate this prog but now adore it and watch all the reruns on Dave. The recent one where they drove accross a salt lake in Africa is one of the most beutifully-shot and classily-edited pieces of telly I have seen in a long time. I wouldn't kick the Hamster out of bed for eating biscuits either @AMO- he is an Irrational Crush of mine too, maybe we should start a support group! I sometime insult my mum bay saying how much she looks like jeremy clarkson! seriously they are twins seperated at birth lol, I will have to find a pic. Ain't Nobody Here
Oh no! I'm really sorry, but Jeremy Clarkson makes my skin crawl! I'm obviously in a very small minority of one !. *crawls sheepishly back under stone*
UkButton
Like him or not you all have something on common with the Clarkson... He is a keeper of chooks! and lives near Costswold chickens (not that it has anything to do with the price of rice)
Guest
Oh yes there was a chapter in oneof his books about when "A fox ate David Beckham" His chooks were named after the England squad!

Guest
be warned, you have to stand up for all of those 5 hours!!!!!
little chickadee
No I don't - I have M.E and a very unattractive old mobility scooter which I shall be sitting on. We've already rung and checked. Hubby will be standing though! I wonder if Clarkson will make a comment about my mode of transport?!
