Guest
My Troikas finally arrived from the US today Might have got here sooner if they hadn't attracted VAT from Customs (only 3.18 but the theiving so an so's at the Post Office added an 8 quid handling fee). First time I've taken off my Mammoths for a week was to put them on! Now they are definately a snugger fit than my regular Crocs and I think the top of them may rub a little until they are worn in but I'm gonna wear them with socks. The heel comes up a lot further. Even Mum likes them (yes the anti-chicken is also the anti-croc) but she's not ready to import them - if we get them on the shelves here she may try them on. For comparison I took a picture of the different styles and I think these definatley look less chunky.

Guest
Oh you should have seen how many times I had to get him to change his grip. He also insisted his precious croclings were in the main picture.

Lesley
I like those PM - and they do look a little less bulky.
ubereglu
They look nice! I quite like them, however I'd have to try them on first, as my feet are weird shapes!

Guest
In the main picture, the Troikas look really smart. I can't remember what the insert bit is made of. Is it leather? Whatever it is, does it go right through or is it plastic-backed? I'm wondering how sweaty (sorry!) feet would get in them. I only wear the Aspens (no holes at all) in the garden now as I got too hot indoors in them.
Jules.
They look really great-I could even wear them for work!
Janty
I bought my first pair of crocs today - mammoths. Ooh...so comfy!
Omletina Kyckling
Hi - I have Troikas I bought from America a month or so ago - the top part is suede but it's all Croccy plastic underneath. I have found my feet are fine if I wear socks with them but can't go barefoot in them like I can my Mary Janes or your feet get very "damp" to put it nicely - your toes go like they do if you stay in the bath for too long! But with socks, they are great and they are very comfy and squishy. I live in mine (also have mammoths but wear those around the house mainly) I had an email from lookatmycrazyshoes to say that they had mammoths in stock but the website seems to be down (probably overwhelmed!) Guest
The top part is nubuck over the croccy stuff as said above. I have to say its the stiffest nubuck I've ever come across though. Not soft to the touch like my timberland collection. Hmmm I'm starting to think I have a thing about shoes...

Guest
Yep I've just done a quick count... 4 pairs of Crocs 4 pairs of Timberland Boots (one pair are Chelsea - not normal Timberlands) 2 pairs of Timberland trainers 7 pairs of Birkenstocks (5 are Gizeh!) OK I think I have a problem. And I thought it was just handbags (8 Radley Handbags, 1 Radley Laptop bag, 1 divine Knomo laptop bag)
Guest
For anyone who lives near Berwick-Upon-Tweed, there is a shop just off the high street that has a full stock of mammoths in just now - all colours, and most sizes.
ubereglu
Liz, all feet are weird shapes No, it's just that my feet are really big-size 8, and I need to try them on first, to see which size I'd need and whether they'd rub on my instep!
