Mel (& Paul)
Apparently today is AUSTRALIA day, so maybe some Amber Nectar can be drunk to celebrate ... or wine .. then use the corks to make a hat. Yippee, a celebration for all Sheilas I reckon! Better open something! Cheers! I will belatedly join you - but at this hour of the morning it had better be a nice cup of tea
The Dogmother
There was an article in the Mail yesterday from a woman who gave up her customary couple of bottles (each evening ), not only did she and her OH lose loads of weight, but he stayed awake in the evenings, so they re-discovered 'another aspect' of their married life too. Very funny piece that made me laugh.
Mel (& Paul)
Now I dont think we want to encourage that sort of behaviour thank you! I had a friend who's doctor was worried that she kept on coming back for sleeping tablets. Little did doctor know that she would sometimes pop one in husbands dinner as he was a complete and would get drunk and hit her I've dontated some of my supplies too She's left him now

Mel (& Paul)
Do you think that if us omleteers played scrabble most of our words would be chocolate, pants, cake, chickens, eggs
Sheilaz
With wine on the triple word score, and extra points because the w made "when" in the other direction, added onto "hen" that was obviously already there. See what you can do without opening a bottle of wine. After the wine, it's zzzzzzzz, which is a. impossible, b. not allowed, and c. theoretically a lot of virtual points.
