Leicester_H
We have cats that visit - they like to be stroked and talked to, but rarely show any interest in getting additional food. My girls have constant access to sufficent food not to be hungry. So why do they go SO mad for almost ANY other food ? They are like a pack of feeding piranha fish (you know, the sort James Bond always escapes from at teh last minute) H
Guest
you can almost hear them saying "gimme, gimme, gimme". Ours do what DH calls "the dilly dance" when they see you coming. Just in case you've got some food for them! If chickens could wet themselves with excitement, ours would!

chelsea
I've been constantly turfing my maran out of the kitchen today everytime she hears a rustle of a bag, or paper or any movment in the kitchen and she's over the back door barrier and by my feet!! We cant even go in the kitchen to make sandwiches, cook or have a cuppa without the chickens getting in on the act!
