Guest
I've had deep fried mars bars. They are delicious which is odd as I don't like mars bars!
Cate in NZ
We've always gone for the traditional turkey thing, even though hubby doesn't actually like turkey, but we've decided to be adventurous this year and try a goose. I hope we like it The rest will be all the traditional veg and trimmings, except sprouts, no-one in my family actually like them, so I do extra roast parsnips instead
Clash City Rocker
"Camel" for me. Off on holiday to "EGG"YPT on sunday, so it's camel legs and all the trimmings on a hot sunny beach.

There goes our holiday to Italy next year . Seriously though, that sounds amazing!
One Man Banned
Eglutine, I am showing Joe your recipie for Nut Roast as I want that for Christmas dinner. We finally arranged this week that Joes brother and partner are coming to stay from the Sunday until Boxing day and yet to hear if Joe's parents are coming here, staying in Dorset at Joes sisters or staying at home in Lincoln - I'd like to meet sometime over the festive season I have gone back to some meat this year but apart from one meal last week I have to eat veggie at home. It was always likely to be a nice nut roast with all the trimmings, and yorkies too ( Kate) I've bought three individual Christmas Puddings and a chocolate pudding for Joe as he doesn't do raisins and other "bits". For Christmas night, sat round with lots of wine and my own homemade, now highly alcoholic, Christmas Cake A xx

susiepoos
I'm working Christmas day on the early so cooking a turkey and all the trimmings is a bit awkward so we asked the boys what they would like and they said steak!!! so we are having fillet steak, dauphinois potatoes and veg - smoked salmon nibbles to munch on with a drop of champagne and chocolate molten lava cake for afters - youngest sons request. I may make some creme brulees on Christmas Eve if I've got the time.
