Egluntyne
nope, doesn't say it has eggs in. I noticed the lid is welded on with the residue of last year's pourings! The expiry date on it is sept 2007, should we risk it this year? Omleteers the length and breadth of the kingdom will be delighted. I'm impressed that you have managed to hold onto the bottle (and its contents!) for so long. Some quality assessment is called for I reckon. Jules.
Does that mean that Omleteers favourite tipple is Baileys? I hardly drink but I do like a Baileys. Husband goes like this he can't stand it.....
The Dogmother
I hated it when I used to drink too jules. My sister has a really sweet tooth and used to love Baileys and also Malibu and pineapple

Guest
all I can say is it doesn't say on the bottle that it contains egg I keep forgetting it's in the cupboard or it would be gone by now! I might have a sip, just in the interest of science

theherd123
Baileys is fab! I love it! Just another thing we disagree on eh Richard?!
Richard
Baileys is fab! I love it! Just another thing we disagree on eh Richard?! No probs - if I ever get any Baileys I will know where to send it. I'd rather give it to a good home than have it in my drinks cupboard with the other stuff that doesn't get touched. I have whisky, sweet sherry, martini ... in fact several bottles of stuff that have been there for years and years and years. Does anybody actually drink Bristol Cream? I find it hard to believe that they do (but then folk drink Baileys so you never know )?
Ain't Nobody Here
Another Snowman version: We’re flying through the airWe’re flapping in the sunlit skyThe people far below are shouting as we fly We’ve flown over the fenceWe’ve landed on the neighbours grass We’re pooping on their lawn, they’re shouting through the glass We’re digging up their bugsWe’re pecking all their plants and flowersWe’re having so much fun, we might be here for hours. Suddenly, running fast, here comes mummy nowWe’re in poop, home for us, we’re due for a row. We’re in the eglu nowWe’re not allowed out any moreOur little trip away has made our mummy roar. Guest
Does anybody actually drink Bristol Cream? I find it hard to believe that they do (but then folk drink Baileys so you never know )? one of my christmas traditions is to have a small sweet sherry at my mum and dad's but I love fortified wines. My favourite is Commandaria and I like port, Moscatel and Mavrodaphne and the occasional Eiswein. I made some mulled wine with Mavro the other day, it was gorgeous! I don't have a sweet tooth for desserts but I do for drinks!? Send it on over Richard

Snowy
That really made me laugh ANH! I sang it to OH, but he just went (think it was my singing though - he laughed at the lyrics! ) Poet - what is mavrodaphne? You've mentioned it before - I'm intrigued! I love fortified wines too, but I like a nice Vintage Port

Guest
Snowy, it's a red, sweet, Greek wine. You can get it from any supermarket for about £4 a bottle and it's gorgeous!

The Dogmother
Phil would probably like that then - he's got a very sweet tooth. Not fussy about what he drinks either ... alco pops, Baileys, snowballs, martini, babycham.. proper drink is wasted in him!
Laura & CTB
CTB loves Baileys and also Bristol Cream His fave drink is Baileys and tomato juice - same glass no ice - and if you can imagine what happens when those two are mixed together - you throw the glass away afterwards

One Man Banned
Love the new Snowman version, far more relevant to us adults and so true too - I mean that our lovely hens often behave like that don't they.... RE drinking alcohol, I usually stick to my wines and move on to Vodka but when in Belgium tried some beers too, only to get into the local customs mind you....but since we've been back out local Tesco sells Kriek, a lovely cherry beer, and I quite like it. Joe did as he now thinks he's married to a butch bloke who drinks beer Ooh cue a joke (mods please censor if inappropriate) . . . . . . What's a poof's favourite wine.... "I want to go to Ikea."
