Ain't Nobody Here Posted January 29, 2008 Share Posted January 29, 2008 I've seen Bertha and Freda sitting on the hemcore for a short time, is this an indication of possible imminent eggs or are they bored do you think? Are they sitting in the nestbox or in the run? They might be thinking about a dustbath if it's in the run . Or maybe you'll be really lucky and get eggs really soon . If you think they're bored, you can hang fruit/veg up for them to peck at, or even a CD (they like the reflection apparently ). Footballs have been suggested too - not tried that one . BTW, are you adding your signature each time you post? If you'd like to put it in automatically, go to "profile" and add the same text to the "signature" bit. The sitting was in the run and I think you're right about dustbathing, how do they flick that hemcore so far!!! I can't stop watching them, I believe I'm officially neglecting my 2 young daughters!
