Basset
Just wondered if anyone can anyone help me finish the final few questions of a fundraising quiz I'm trying to complete? (eg. 360 D in a C = 360 degrees in a circle) 22 L of a C P in Y 4160 M in the R N 10 M in a C 2 W N 65 R A 18 Y O to D A Many thanks,
Eyren
10 M in a C = 10 millimetres/millilitres in a centimetre/centilitre 22 L of a C P in Y = most likely something to do with chains and yards (1 chain = 22 yards) 4160 M in the R N = 4160 miles in the River Nile Edited February 1, 2008 by Guest

Egluntyne
Can only suggest 65 RA = 65 - retirement age.

Eyren
22 L of a C P in Y = length of a cricket pitch in yards I'm embarrassed I didn't know that one - but now I'm intrigued that 1 chain (the length of a cricket pitch) = 4 poles or 0.4 of an allotment

Basset
Thank you all so much. Poet, I'd never ever have guessed 4160 miles in the River Nile, or 22 length of a cricket pitch in yards - you are clever. 2 W N, has been keeping me awake all night. I think your 2 weekend nights is the best suggestion so far, unless anyone else has another brain wave. Also for the 18 y o to D A, I think I'll put 18 years old to drinking age (as it must be referring to the legal age to buy alcohol, I think you can drink it much earlier). Thank you for your help. Any other suggestions for 2 W N gratefully received. Have a lovely weekend, Jackie
