Blackrocksrock
3 black rocks and have had to be busy getting the run ready and off to buy pellets etc and put up some netting round the eglu to let them semi free range at the moment before letting them completely loose in the garden

ali-s
[ Thank you Ali - its really all down to your showing me the Eglu : It was a pleasure I had to convince someone to get an Eglu, I was getting lonely up here Did you get your food from A&I? My lot are going off the pellets and mash from there I wondered if there was anywhere else to buy from.

Yes I did but I bought ordinary layers pellets and organic ones as I want to put them on to that - the only other place would be huntly at Harbro. Blackrocksrock
Collected them this morning - 1.5 hours away so nice whiff in the car by the time we came home They are wild - they were in a hen box and I have an egg with them too - 65g so the lady gave me it home as its my egg! One got out when they were transferring them to the box - she was not amused to be recaught when she ended up in the shed!. They look huge in the run which looks too small for them all!. Need to keep them in the eglu run for a few days though he said then they can get into the bit I fenced. They are not used to the grub and I have put pellets on a shallow dish on the floor and still not interested! - Hope they are not eating the bark - I am worrying now - typical mother eh They are beautiful - no names yet - dog likes them and they raged at her and one cat ran away - the other is still sleeping!
