roloted
We've had an eglu for 4 years , think one of the first ordered. Any way, I'm looking for fertile speckledy eggs, i have a very broody bantam wyandot who's a good sitter and would like speckledies as they are good layers, not too big, easy to catch and handle. can you help? AJuff
Try ebay, there are speckeldy sussex eggs for sale at present.
feemcg
A Speckledy is a hybrid Cuckoo Maran cross - I'm not sure I've seen any of those on ebay, it's more often the pure breeds you see. A Speckled Sussex is a different breed altogether - you do get plenty of them on ebay (thats where I got my lazy freeloader who's just started laying at a year old ). Egluntyne
You have had an Eglu for 4 years and you have only just joined the forum Welcome aboard. Let us know how the hatching goes.
Cinnamon
Sounds exciting! I hope you have a contingency plan for any cockerels you might get......... I think the average rate is 60% cockerels to hens, so it needs thinking about

Aunty e
My preferred solution as well. You can get hybrid hatching eggs, I can't remember the name of the place right now, but I saw it in the back of Practical Poultry magazine. I'll have a look when I get home tonight, but you could try looking on the practical poultry forum. www.practicalpoultry.co.uk/forum
