Snowy
Good luck Chelsea! I think with your current job experience, you will more than capable of dealing with this new job! If the new company can't see that, then it's their loss
chelsea
SO annoyed They told me I would know either way by the end of the week! Guess what - I've heard nowt! I just wish these bloomin companies would just put people out of their misery sooner. I went for a job with the NHS and found out the same day (good on them) so if they can do it why cant everyone else. Frustration rant now over! Louise
Depends how far apart the interviews are Chelsea In an ideal world you get all your candidates through the door in a couple of days and make a descision on the third, offer the post have a verbal yes or no and so on and can then let the other unsuccesful candidates know Nowadays and especially the further up the tree you go interviews can be held over a week between first and last as people are unable to attend on a given date and that then slows down the descision and the contact Fingers crossed you will hear soon Try giving them a call at least they will know you are keen
chelsea
Try giving them a call at least they will know you are keen Thanks Louise , hubby suggsested the same....but im too scared too!
Louise
The chances are Chelsea they have either offered it to someone elese and are awaiting a descision OR more importantly they are struggling to choose in which case looking keen is a good thing Don't give up though as often first choice candidates turn the job down so waiting is not a bad sign the longer someone takes to decide the less likely they are to say yes

Joojoo
I can imagine how you are feeling cos it would be driving me up the wall Ring them Monday morning - even if it's bad news at least then you will know and can start scouring the papers again. SURE it's going to be positive though
chelsea
I agree Jue. Im definitely going to ring them on Monday, I cant wait in limbo any longer. Hubby says why dont I just apply for loads now, but once I get to this point (interview & waiting) I cant concentrate on applying until I've found out! Joojoo
I'd be exactly the same hun Get this one out of the way - and hopefully you won't need to go through it all again! But if you do, at least you will have got 1 interview behind you (which can only be a good thing as then you know what to expect). x
Joojoo
Hi Have you heard anything about your interview yet? Fingers crossed it's good news x
chelsea
nope! not a bloomin word I havent rung either, feeling under the weather today so havent felt like it, I think its really mean they havent rung me when they stipulated I would know at the latest by the end of last week! WitchHazel
I;d ring them Chelsea. If it's bad news, well, you're better of hearing about it directly than sitting stewing over it,
chelsea
Well, after receiving nothing in the post I bit the bullet and rang them. Lady who interviewed me answered the phone, I asked if they had come to a decision...she was rather sheepish and shocked that I had rung and replied "oooh, um.....sorry about that - we have already recruited" I said thanks and put the phone down really abruptly. Im so cheesed off - they made me wait almost 2 weeks and dont even have the courtesy to ring me or even bloomin well email me (its free for pete's sake) Going off to sulk now. Tessa the Duchess
Sounds to me like you have had a lucky escape, they don't sound like a very nice company to work for, very unprofessional and uncaring Don't be too depressed. There is a new job out there somewhere, you will just have to keep looking and applying until it happens. Tessa
