Snow!

Recommended Posts

How lovely that snow looks. Not a flake, or even a promising looking cloud here. They've said "wintery showers" which basically means rain with the odd chance of slush falling from the skies. Nice :?

Our school is closed until Thursday because the heating and hot water broke down on Friday - I ask you. I bet if ask if I can take the kids out for four days during term time for a holiday they'll tut and um and ahhh. I shall have something to say if they do. Now if we had snow like THAT I could understand them closing - they did last year. Too cold. Too slippery. Then in the summer it was too hot. THIS IS BRITAIN NOT THE ANTARCTIC OR THE TROPICS!

Sorry, rant over.

Thank you Helen :D - she was so excited by the snow. Even though I live in Scotland, we very rarely get snow in this area. She asked if she ate her lunch quick could she go out and play, but I couldn't let her - she'd get soaked and she only gets 45 mins for lunch.

 - I've never sent anything in before but thought 'why not?', never thought for as minute they'd be used, but about 2 mins after pressing the submit button a chap phoned and asked if it was ok to mention Anna's name  - wait till she sees it!

How beautiful. :D

We didn't have a single flake here and we are most disappointed - i'd got my wellies ready too! :(

We went on holiday to see Father Christmas in Lapland a couple of years ago and it was the most fabulous holiday we've ever had. The scenery was amazing. I could quite happily live there (I wonder if Santa needs another elf?).
