little chickadee
Why couldnt' they have chosen a day in July? I shan't be taking part - anyone going to give it a try! I love the Innocent newsletter. Such clever people working at that company, now everyone else is trying to copy their marketing strategies/ packaging.
Egluntyne
Eeuuch! There were a pair of naked gardeners on telly last year. They were 60 if they were a day. He had waist length hair in a ponytail, and she had waist length purple hair, loose. Not a good look. A pair of ageing Hippies. Truly hideous to look at and absolutely nothing new to say re gardening. Give me barmy, delightful fully clothed Christine Walkden any day! chickencam
not good for me I'm afraid because my back garden is on a double decker bus route and the allotment is next to a school. Otherwise I would be more than happy

Tessa the Duchess
:Give me barmy, delightful fully clothed Christine Walkden any day! I loved that 'Christine's Garden' series. I bought her book too. I was really miffed to discover she isn't doing a third series, I even e.mailed her begging her to change her mind Although if you read the book you can kind of understand why she won't do any more telly programmes. Apparently she got loads of nasty e.mails telling her she was fat, ugly and should get someone else to choose her clothes she also hated the constant presence of the film crew in her house. She has 200 house plants Tessa

Olly
Oh darn it - only just read this thread, and it's dark now. I might take my kit off before I pop out to shut the Eglu door, just to show willing!
Rona
Calm down Olly, its not until 3rd may that you need to get your kit off. Do you think hats will be allowed if it is a sunny day? and what about gloves? Don't think I'll be participating - too many nettles and brambles in my garden! Lesley
Well, I suppose I could add it to my habit of 'near naked' vacuuming....... ... mind you, we do have a public footpath along the side of the veggie plot - I don't want to scare the locals....... or worse, the Ramblers
