Guest Posted March 16, 2008 Share Posted March 16, 2008 Dannii has laid her first egg She is about 55 weeks old and she laid her 1st egg on the 11th March. I wanted to be absolutely sure it was her eggs that we had found this week , so I set about Dannii watching this morning and lo and behold she confirmed it with a lovely little almost white egg A big well done to Dannii and heres to many more of her lovely little eggs in the future So to all of you still waiting there is still hope Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ubereglu Posted March 16, 2008 Share Posted March 16, 2008 Silly hen, at least she's laying now. On a plus side, my silly hen Spice actually laid her egg in the nestbox today! (It's the fifth one she laid) The first one was under the hedge. The second in the middle of the run. The third at the entrance to the run. The fourth just outside the eglu door as she'd gone into the nestbox and laid it straight afterwards. AND TODAY she laid in the nestbox-it was a massive egg!
