Recommended Posts

Blimey glad I didn't lay that one on the right

expected to see one of the girls with a funny walk ! Was actually a bit worried but I checked all chook bottoms and everything looked fine! (apologies - it's a bit early for chook bottom talk I know!)

 wow. They are truly amazing eggs! My girls have only just started laying and they are so far teeny tiny (but perfect  ). Your eggs are amazing. What are you going to do with them?

ps what breed is the chook in your picture? She looks lovely.

Thankyou!! That is Hermione hen and she is one of the gingernuts from omlet

Did you weigh it?

If it is over 100g it qualifies for a position on the Egg Leader Board.

hee hee! I've been needing to get a decent set of scales for a while - think this could be a good excuse (or should that be eggscuse - SORRY couldn't help it!!!)

Sorry - having a daft moment - you mean the pic which goes with my details on here. Dur! That is Tonks a bantam - not sure what breed she is as we took her in from one of our family who had to get rid of all his animals when he moved. I think someone told me she is part silkie?

I got a nice set from Argos on Wednesday in their clearout sale. They are Salter ones and cost just £9.99. Just perfect for weighing our girls' offerings.
