farrowy
Over easter weekend one of my big girls has laid 2 whopper eggs! If you look at the picture I'd say the middle egg is a typical large sized egg. I'd love to know what they weigh but haven't got a decent set of scales! Egluntyne
Did you weigh it? If it is over 100g it qualifies for a position on the Egg Leader Board.

That is Tonks a bantam - not sure what breed she is as we took her in from one of our family who had to get rid of all his animals when he moved. I think someone told me she is part silkie? I've been needing to get a decent set of scales for a while - think this could be a good excuse (or should that be eggscuse - SORRY couldn't help it!!!) I got a nice set from Argos on Wednesday in their clearout sale. They are Salter ones and cost just £9.99. Just perfect for weighing our girls' offerings. Ain't Nobody Here
Farrowy, did you ever manage to weigh that whopper egg? I'm going to update the Egg Leader Board shortly and that would definitely qualify if you had a weight to give me .
