buffie
So here's what happened.... Wanted to give daisie a quick run and get back for buff as she looked liked she was trying to lay and with her problems I was worried. I parked at the local playing fields in Olney and a man working on the grounds watched me from his truck. I sat in the car and looked at him to see if he was trying to tell me to not park or something but he sat in his truck. I did a mad dash in the rain so daisie could have a little run and then came back to my car. I approached the gate to leave and he had locked me in....Pouring with rain and I'm stranded 2 miles plus from home and I can't use my car. I walk round to another car park and see a woman in a 4x4 collected her children from tennis, she tells me the man is horrible and has done it to her once. No offer of a lift or phone or anything she drives past me! So we've walked home, no path most of the way dangerous poor visibility and I am livid...I've just checked Buff and thank goodness she has laid and no prolapse so hurrah. I hope the man doesn't sleep tonight with guilt!! Mikey is now going to find out how I get my car. I am making a judgement about this man and I don't care, he is cruel and heartless. Cinnamon
How horrible! Is there anyone you can complain to - maybe the grounds are council owned, with him being employed by the council.... He obviously did it on purpose,& I am sure his employers will take a very dim view. There are some mean, spiteful people in this world - but they will get theres one day Good news about Buff though
Mrs Frugal
Oh Buffie, how horrible. I hope he can't sleep at night. Have a nice warm drink and get cosied up with a nice fluffy jumper on and good luck to Mikey getting the car back. What a rogue!
Linda
That's twice today I have been left open-mouthed at the sheer malice of people! It must have been made so much worse for you with the worry of whether Buff was managing all right at home. Pleased she was ok - that's a relief - and I hope you manage to retrieve your car quickly. Guest
What a horrible man - you MUST find out who employs him, and make your feelings about his actions clear to them. Hope you're warming up now, have a cuppa, and I hope you get your car back quickly.
AnnieP
Unbelievable! I so hope these people get what they deserve in life.... There's just no need to be like that! It makes me so mad!
Lesley-Jean
I so hope these people get what they deserve in life.... I'm sure he will get his And just to be helpful I would give it a hand along and report him. If you were not supposed to park their he should have said so. He knew he was locking you in. I'm sure that is not his employers policy.
Mel (& Paul)
Poor you Buffster! Make sure you find out who he was, write and complain to his employers, write to your local paper, contact your local radio / tv station and out this horrible jobsworth person. buffie
I am going to take it further, thanks I'm calmer now. It's hard to imagine at which point you decide 'that's a good idea and I'll make her pay'. Weird to say the least, maybe he has had a turn and just driven off into the blue yonder! Called the Olney council, she was amazed she is going to make some calls and get back to me. She can't believe anyone would do this and also wonders why!BBx
Guest
If it was me, I'd buy a set of bolt-cutters and go to work on the gates. I know they would probably do me for criminal damage, but I would be prepared to risk that.
Mel (& Paul)
We could be very charitible - maybe he had a call and his wife had been taken into hospital, maybe he had an upset tum......... nah, even if he had a problem he could have told let you out
Happymama
If it was me, I'd buy a set of bolt-cutters and go to work on the gates. I know they would probably do me for criminal damage, but I would be prepared to risk that. I angle-ground a clamp off a car once that had been applied with someone sitting in the car, and have seen a car being towed because the owner underpaid his parking by 20p. Both cases thrown out. I would be persuing your man in the truck with righteous voracity. What a ****!
buffie
I actually had a moment when I wanted to ram the gates or the hedge and skid about on the rugby pitch...why not I am obviously a nasty person. I then saw an image of me 'deranged tear streaked face' being lead off humiliated so decided not too. I'd walk home with dignity then get the 'beep' when I got home! I'll have his wot nots for garters I am not to be messed with. A fluffy hip wiggling chick but like an elephant I don't forget! BBx

He can't understand it, could this be a phantom retired groundsman who was once hurt by a dancing chick or a blonde 5'4" woman in a red coat and old brown cords or by someone in an N reg escort or ....... The local mag is going to have a letter winging it's way, I will have the last word on this. BBx

Cate in NZ
Buffie what a horrible experience..... made so much worse by the fact that it was totally avoidable, if not for the sheer malice of a stranger. I'd be furious too.... go get him girl.... he needs sorting out Glad to hear about Buff though
