daj198
I had it because they were my chooks and "Ooops, word censored!"ody else was interested in them. You could suggest baking a cake or muffins with the first egg/s and everyone could have some.

Clarabelle
We waited until there were enough for all of us and then had them fried on toast. Don't put it in a cake, you won't be able to taste it like that!

ajm200
My baby son had it boiled with marmite toast. It was so small that it was lost in the egg cup so only enough for him

Chickvic
I've blown and kept the first eggs with the name, date and weight written on! We used the blown eggs too - amazing how much egg comes out My dad had just come out of hospital and we gave him the next 2 eggs...he was very impressed and said how lovely they were
FruitandNutCake
My eldest son (7) had the first 2 eggs - one for breakfast scrambled the second for lunch fried! He has had most of them so far (he doesn't eat much else) so he has had them in an omlet and boiled. I made cake with them - but not chocolatey enough for him! So I've eaten half the cake today. My little one (3) won't eat any yet (but he also won't eat much!)
FruitandNutCake
Forgot to say that I got the chickens for the boys - to encourage their understanding of where food comes from. My eldest is autistic, my youngest has severe developmental/speech and communication disorder and probably autistic, so I hope the chickens help them in one way or another! That's why I let my eldest have the eggs first although I was dying to try them!
