Really really sorry to hear about your loss, how awful. Having lost my two girls last week I can really sympathise. I really miss my girls but I reserved 3-ex batts yesterday. They won't replace Emma & Gilly but I'm looking forward to having chooks in the garden again.

 

Hope you feel able to get new girls soon.

sorry to hear about your chooks - you get so used to each wee personality - but hopefully you will bond with your newbies - I have 5 ex batts who after 3 weeks are Uber friendly, I think they totally know what I (and BHWT) did for them and mostly act grateful.

So, so sorry to hear about your girls...we're in Luton too and live near a couple of large fields and am very worried Mr Fox will get my girls...hadn't thought about stoats though! Sending you best wishes
