Phil just came back from an art exhibition and apparently one of the exhibitors had some ceramic sculptures of... you guessed it... poultry. He said 'I've seen just the thing for you... a big cockerel!' I wasn't really sure how to take that!

My vet now has an incubator full of fluffy chicks waiting to go in the brooder.. Rosie was glued to the incy door while we were there He said that he's never seen her so quiet!

I've got a large collection of the "Gallo" theme...

its the Portuguese national symbol. (My beautiful husband was Portuguese)

Ive got table clothes, Pottery Roosters, mugs etc.

Its our anniversary on sunday. We agreed we wouldnt buy present for each other as we are broke but mil kicked off at him (she thinks he should be more generous to me lovely mil) so he got me something I wanted and we agreed I would tell her he had got something I wanted and that I wasnt going to say. we would hope she would assume it was something a bit naughty. It was in fact a new potato masher as the dogs just chewed up our old one ( at least it wasnt a spatula she would get odd ideas if she found out later)
