I have been off work for a couple of days with 2 infections of the female kind at the same time

 

Went to the chemist in town for tablets (£18.00 ) and popped into a charity shop to look at the books. Imaine my delight when I found a book I had been after for 3 years. It is called Home Farm by Paul Heiney (of thats life fame). The book is out of print and I had been searching on the web for it. Sellers were asking from between £30 - £50 for a used copy. My book cost £4.50

 

Really made my day although I still feel rough

I've looked at it in the library, never borrowed it 'cos it's a really heavy volume Would buy it though if I saw it in a second hand shop.
