Had an interesting time collecting our new girls, the farmer had a bit of an emergancy with other livestock getting onto road.. so received a frantic call while on way to let me know he was happy for me to just go ahead and choose/collected chooks myself.. in at the deep end but great fun! Had a real hard time deciding and could easily have come home with 6 rather than 4! Finally decided on the girls below.. On way home Arriving home carried by Helpful Father ( AKA general assistant) & Darling Daughter DD had prepared for arrival DD's choice.. Beanz..almost totally black Pied who is the boss and the greedest by far! Amber Star reserved for us (you may recall she showed up in nearly all our photos when we visited! so had to have her!) Exploring! "no name" Black Tailed Suffolk The character of the flock and eating out of DD'd hand within an hour! My beautiful Bluebelle..the bottom of the pile and bossed around a lot! Porsche or Penny ( not sure yet) I have spent 4 hours solid just watching getting dark now so going to try and get them to bed.. wish me luck!
