Lesley-Jean
You cannot post photos on the forum that do not exist somewhere else on the internet. Such as the omlet gallery or another hosting site like photobucket. I'll see if I can do anything for you Diana1
Popcorn
Actually the baby is about ready so it would be good if it came soon, but you are right - not by the shock of a lightning bolt. I'm one day overdue. Diana, I was going to PM you ysterday about your baby, but I wasn't sure if it was you that was due! You must let me know how you get on....I'm about ready to go too! Sheilaz
How scary! Also, I'm amazed at the good photography. I can't believe that we didn't record the Buncefield incident as it unfolded. Was too shocked I think.
Diana1
Thanks Gina - I've heard that acts of god like this mean you can't claim insurance - what bad luck. Maybe there'll be a local collection for the family. Do PM me about births etc. Its been a while since we shared our news. I found your blog site to see when you were due. Popcorn
In our last house, overnight, we lost many roof tiles in a really, really bad wind storm. We found them smashed to smithereens in the garden. We got a quote from a roofer (and went like this ) then we remembered we were insured for stuff like loosing roof tiles. The insuremace company wouldn't pay up, as 'it wasn't windy enough'. Just how windy does it have to be - enough to blow the whole roof off, before they pay up! The devastation wasn't limited to our house either, the whole street was in a right old mess. Makes you mad when you pay such high premiums for incidents like this and you get nothing back for it Will be good to compare birth stories Diana - I think you're more experienced than me though! Guest
BTW I relaesed the postie yesterday when I forund out it was creme eggs The postie arrived this morning with the parcel, looking slightly dishevelled and a face like ! Really Louise, what DID you do to the poor man! Along with the (Not Creme) eggs, came a gorgeous PINK Glub, which the girlies are all drinking out of at the moment! Chookiehubbie did lots more when he heard there was a pink glub in the parcel too, he had been planning on ordering a manly brown one for the permanent run, so his plans have been scuppered! Guest
Along with the (Not Creme) eggs, I've come such a long way and now you tell me it's not Creme Eggs! I'll have to turn round and go back home now, very disappointed.
Guest
You wouldn't have stood a chance anyway! The boys have put me under strict instructions NOT to eat any till they get home and they get a chance to count them, just in case the chaps at HQ had been tempted to sample them. They will then be divided up between us, again by the boys so it could be a case of 'one for mum, two for me, one for dad, three for me.......'
