Peachy77
Just thinking we may write the days the eggs were laid on the eggs so that when we give them to people they know. Is there any type of pen to avoid etc ie toxins etc. I know you can buy the stamps, but dont want to get one straight away.
superjules
I use a soft pencil, which works fine. When I have bought hatching eggs they have been written on in pencil so presumably must be safe.
Lesley
I used to use pencil before I bought the stamp and food grade dye.

Ms Tilytinkle
ooops i use my daughters old school coloured penclls, using a different colour for each day look quite colourful when we have a basketful, not that we often have a basketful with our family & friends!!! I did look at icing pens but decided to opt for the coloured pencil as it washes off & doubt any toxins will penetrate the shell...but did wonder, there was probably a law against it knowing the strictness of everything. superjules
What's this stamp then? Is it just a date stamp? That's not enough detail if it is. I like to write the initial of the hen who laid it, the date and the weight too. I'm never going to find something that does all that for me (except DS!).
