Guest
we live on the outskirts of a village, it's a very small village and we've never really explored it (shame on us!). Anyway, we went to their local Gala today and on the way we passed my dream house! I slammed on the breaks and rushed out to take some photos ***edit*** photos removed and the piece de resistance! This is where the girls will live, it's to the right of the main house ****edit*** photo removed we'll be keeping an eye out for a 'for sale' sign! BeckyBoo
What a lovely looking house, maybe you should go and knock on the door! When my Dad announced he wanted to live in the same road as me my OH did a leaflet drop, (He actually put - "accomodation wanted for daft old ***!" ) and we had three replies, none of them on the market and my Dad is now 10 doors up from us! Cooks
"accomodation wanted for daft old ***!" Brilliant , very similar to the wording I could use for my dad, bless his silly heart!

bronze
I wonder what the owners would think of you taking pics of their house and posting them on the internet.
Egluntyne
I agree Bronze. Lovely though the house is......I wouldn't like to see it poste on the internet for the world to see without my permission, if it were mine.
Cooks
I hadn't thought about that to be honest.. good point.
bronze
I guess the drooling comments may help make up for it. though I would be freaked by the idea that Poet might be about to come along and turf me out of my home
Cooks
I guess the drooling comments may help make up for it. though I would be freaked by the idea that Poet might be about to come along and turf me out of my home at least they know we all love their home I guess If I found someone out the front of my house with a camera I would be a little worried though
Guest
i think the chances of them finding out are about as low as my chances of winning the lottery. If I do win the lottery, I'll be round to make them an offer they can't refuse!
Egluntyne
Even so Poet......it's a breach of their privacy.
Guest
in what way? everyones house is on the internet via google earth so we've all been breached haven't we? I was stood at the roadside so I didn't see anything that anyone else wouldn't see who was walking or driving past. what exactly is the big deal? I just wanted to share pictures of a lovely house. Egluntyne
If a total stranger posted photographs of your house, front and back, on the internet, Poet, without asking your permission, would you be happy? I'm not sure I would. The fact that they might not stray on to this forum is neither here nor there. There is a world of difference between the images on Google earth etc and the in depth photos you have posted of what is indeed a lovely house.
