I've heard a few people on here mention that they give their girls any of hte above, I just wandered what people feed their girls?

 

I'm shopping tomorrow and I was going to pick up a value pack of one of them, but I'm not sure which to get, maybe theirs no difference?!

 

I've always been confused between them!

Mine love sultanas.

 

I think they seem a lot softer than the currants. Although you could probably soak them for a while.

 

If they hear the bag rustle they come running but I expect they would come running for a bin liner!

I go for sultanas or raisins too, mainly because they are juicier.

 

Mind you, i tend not to have currants in the cupboard that often anyway.

Mine are sweetcorn girls too.. you'd think it was the last piece of food on the planet everytime they even think theres some going.. or anything remotely yellow

sultanas here too. I've only got to rustle the bag and they come running.

Don't know about our chickens but can tell you that sultanas are paler and squishier than the others and also a tiny bit bigger than raisins (I prefer them!); raisins are black and juicy; currants are black but smaller than raisins and sultanas.

I always thought raisins were red grapes and sultanas were white - but I could be wrong.

I think you're right - but what are sultanas then? Why do they end up so much smaller than the other two I wonder?
