Do you need a pressure washer

Recommended Posts

I just bagged one of these from Tesco...

If you use the code XXB47M you get another £12 off....£38 for a karcher pressure washer seems a good deal to me. My eglu will be kept pristine with this :D

Apparently the tools alone are worth £50ish. The husband has already been telling me what will be washed when it comes lol

Oh that looks great but does anyone know if the patio cleaner is really good as we've an unopened PW we bought from B & Q last week without tools but cheaper. Was wondering if it was worth taking it back and getting this one instead as the other specs are similar.

Edited to say I hope you can understand what I mean as I've waffled

I have just ordered one as well - I ordered from the cleanstore online 23rd June only to be told the one I had ordered was out of stock and not even due to be with them until W/C 14th July - so now I have canceled and order this for brilliant saving.

Many thanks,

Tracy

Wowee! mega-bargain - ordered one immediately. I did start to look for a pressure washer when I got the Cube six weeks ago, but then got distracted and forgot. Hens and cats eh, who'd have 'em

Many thanks for the post and thanks from the hens for pointing me in the right direction to get something to keep their home clean. I knew there was a reason for coming into work today :D

Thanks for the tip! I've just ordered one.

They're great gadgets. My friend has one (which we all used to borrow) and it left the patio slabs beautifully clean (and they were encrusted with mud, chicken 'things', etc).

Good bargain too, as I saw it in Cosco for £99.99 (and of course didn't buy it there!)

Thanks again

I got mine the other day and my husband has had great fun blasting everything in sight today lol. I am pleased to learn that my slabs are infact buff in colour rather than the grey I thought that they were lol. It is going to be great for cleaning the eglu. :D

Also just checked Tesco and they have gone back to £100!

Not got mine yet. I was told that it would arrive last Tuesday. I was in and popped into the garden for about thirty seconds (my mum was in the house at the time) when I got back there was a card tp say that they had tried to deliver it. I phoned up and was told that they could deliver it on Saturday. I was in all day on Saturday and it didn't arrive. On Monday, when I was at work, another card arrived to say that they tried to deliver it. I phoned again and was told that they would only have it for five working days and would then send it back to the company. After some gentle persuasion, they agreed to deliver it on Friday - I didn't feel like making a 50 mile round trip to the depot! perhaps I should add this to the "Things that annoy you" thread

Oops, just realised I haven't posted to say Thanks to Yolky as I ordered one although we haven't used it yet. Hubby wants to try it first and he was away at York races at the weekend. Mind you I did forget to use the extra discount code so was  with myself!!

I've got an old leaky pressure washer and haven't yet tried to clean the eglu with it. Any tips for using it? I tend to use mine (and rarely) to blast my paving slabs at full water-cannon pelt so imagine the eglu being blasted into space! Do you use yours on a gentler setting or with the brush attachment. I like to think I'm in touch with my DIY self, but I haven't got to grips with the full range of this gadget  maybe its a man thing like bbqs!

Mine arrived when I was out, but was left on back door step. I had a quick go with it Sunday on the patio - it worked really well and I was particularly impressed by the patio brush that worked really well - next weekend its the chciken's pation to do!
