My mum used to regularly graze my ankles with her trolley when I was a child and it would pain me greatly to give in and be practical

Well I really want one,but I also need some new clothes too. I already have a little fold up purple trolley bag that was from woolies ages ago. It's ace & I get loads of people asking where I got it from ( young & old) - but its wheels are well worn now.

 

perhaps I need to sell some junk & then buy a trolley!

Though it looks cool i can't change that i think they are only for old people, i've never seen anyone round here with one who looks under 60. so 20ish years to go lol

one advantage of childminding i have been pushing prams on and off for 21yrs lol

I miss prams for this reason, part from when you end up in some cramped shop were you can't move and end up knocking over, half a stack of jugs (yes I am talking from experience)!

Although I can understand your 'only for old people' view. There is a lot of difference between a tartan 'sholley' and a really cool trolley. I have seen loads of young people, men too, pulling a shopping trolley, some of them come in amazing designs I would love one of the chicken ones, but I have a very nice Rolser which was bought for me as a gift (a friend said she was fed up with watching me struggling up the hill with bags of shopping) I can't really justify buying a new one
