Andyman finally agreed to me getting a cube but he wants to build the run.

 

I decided (as I really don't have the money up front) to wait until I had earned enough through the Hen Parties.

 

I have been getting quite impatient partially because Pepper is still occasionally eating her eggs. She only eats hers and no one elses and it only seems to be when someone else is on the nest. She then lays on the bars and eats it.

 

Three nests seems like a really logical way of putting a stop to it. So Andy has said he will fund the money for the cube and I can repay him as I earn it.

 

Roll on 12th August. i have already booked the day off work. :dance::dance:

you wont regret Andyman building a run, our walk in run was one of the best decisions we've done.

Andyman is designing the run right now.

 

He has talked about it for a while but now I've ordered the cube he will actually build it.

 

I'm very happy.

 

He's happy cos I've been a grouch for ages.

We're always adding different bits to ours, we now have a hatch and OH is building a verandah/porch on it this weekend.

Hi Lisa, Well I never we are getting our cubes on the same day how strange we should pick the same time. Your hen party was great, it certainly convinced me that I wanted to go ahead. I wonder if the delivery man will come to you or me first!! I can't wait until the 12th it's so exciting.

Andyman wants to build it so that once a year we can easily take it apart to re - weather proof it.

 

He has all these fab ideas.

I am very excited, although I haven't been dreaming about chickens yet! I'm sure that will happen before too long!

Are you getting more chooks when you get your cube?

I am going to Thornes on the 13th to get 4 others so they can all settle in together.

My brother is so jealous, he's always liked chickens but he lives in a flat so I said he'll have to have one of mine to call him own.

Very excited myself as hubby has ordered my green cube, and a poultry protection pen from flytesofancy today. They are for my birthday, and we will be getting some chooks after the holidays.
