Partly for fun, partly because I can't help myself!! We have our lovely 6 hybrids and I plan to get a cube and fill it with pure breeds next.

 

Here's my wish list - One of each! Although I had such a problem getting different hybrids in Northumberland that I had to travel the two hours to Raw Green Cottages for some of them - they do have some nice pure breeds though

Hm, good question!

I think I'd like to try some banties next - pekins in all colours of the rainbow, mille fleur barbu d'uccles and seabrights.

After that it will be the gentle giants - cochins and orps (mottled), oh and a dark brahma or two ....

and after that ....

I would have Silver Laced Wyandotte bantams, some stripy black and white bantams I've seen ( ) and some (I think they're called) Old English Game bantams that look like tiny miniature old fashioned chickens.

Actually, my dream team pretty much consists of the breeds that I have now. I would love a frizzle pekin in the future. I used to have a black and white one called Nigella who we lost.

She was gorgeous in her own little way.
