Cooks
Oh My! Jessie puts her anchors on and bottom down when we get to the vets door but she's never done that..
Shirl
OHs beagle really hates it but the others only go once a year to get jabbed so they forget inbetween. I always say its why they have lino on tghe floor so you can slide them in.
deejmum
One of ours hates it and honestly looks worried. The other one (old english sheepdog) gets really excited and thinks its the best day out ever!
chelsea
ha ha - good photo! ours loves it!....she actually pulls OH into the estate agents and the conservative club who are 2 doors up from the vets she is that eager to get in. We never have a problem with her.....she is very vocal in the waiting room though
Paola
The cats expression is fantastic!!! When I was growing up my best friend had an Airedale Terrier and they would have to vary the route to the vets otherwise he would twig and refuse to move He is the biggest Airedale I have ever seen and you could not budge him If my best friends mum was in a rush she would have to drive him I think you are right on the lino front
Olly
I used to know a blind lady who had a guide dog. The dog was wonderful, would take her anywhere, coped with her two young children, and a pram etc. - the only place it would not go was the vets. She'd get there, and the dog would just lead her right past the entrance!
Lesley
Jazz loves going to the Vets - she is beside herself with glee and wriggles herself into knots ....and it is also the only time you'll see her widdling on the floor

Cooks
jessie loves it untilo she gets the 'smell' about 6 feet infront of the vets door she'll do her 'drop anchors' I am not going in there that's where that man is! But when she's inside she doesn't mind too much as they love her in there didn't like her too much when she was spayed and then proceeded to howl the place down in the recovery department though.. I soon got a call to collect her She was the loudest they had ever had after an op apparantly.. .. that's my girl, let your feelings out! Seagazer
Good photo Cookie doesn't mind too much but our dog before, Sally, used to get very stressed. She had a tremor anyway (neuro-muscular thingy) but would sit and shake and dribble. Then when we were called she would pull to go out the exit door and I would have to drag her along - poor thing. Wouldn't mind but she never really had to have much done just the normal jabs etc You've never seen a dog leave a room so quick!
Couperwife
that picture is brilliant Piper (kitty) doesnt like the vet much, but we take her in her box, so cant really complain the only fun part is getting her in the box, she turns into "bar of soap" cat, and we have a great job catching her . cathy x
BarbaraJ
i learnt the hard way after many aborted missions trying to cage a cat. Put them in backkwards seems to stump mine lol

Chicken Licken
Rosie hates the vets - she tries very hard to stay in the car when we arrive and then slinks to the farthest point from the examining room - this is the scales - where she lies as a panting wreck. Periodically people int he waiting room comment on how well trained she is to get on the scales.... if only they knew! The chickens on the other hand are gloriously unbothered and baccaw away when the lid to their removals box is opened (here's hoping the visits are few and far between!)
