Guest
It was Ian's last day at work today (he's been made redundant after 20 years with the same company!). He's let me treat myself with a little bit of his redundancy payout. I don't normally spend a lot on clothes but I ordered everything I wanted from this season's LTS catalogue and boy did it feel good! How the other half live!!!! Must be great to go out and get what you want, when you want it. Anyway, I bought a reversible gilet http://www.longtallsally.com/productkit.aspx?CurrentCategory=home%7cjacketscoats&ProdId=09R14&Clr=STN a short trench coat http://www.longtallsally.com/productkit.aspx?CurrentCategory=home%7cjacketscoats&ProdId=09R20 a long denim skirt that will look great with my boots! http://www.longtallsally.com/productkit.aspx?CurrentCategory=home%7cskirts&ProdId=12R03&Clr=IND the v neck jumper that the model is also wearing in the denim skirt pic (in chocolate) I already have a white shirt that will look the biz with the skirt and jumper. http://www.longtallsally.com/productkit.aspx?CurrentCategory=home%7cskirts&ProdId=16R07 and this hat, gloves, scarf and cape set http://www.longtallsally.com/searchresults.aspx?KW=audrey&PageNo=1 that's my autumn/winter wardrobe sorted! he's getting himself a laptop! Hope your OH enjoys some R&R before anything else comes along. 20 years is a long time to be with one company - I'm sure it will feel a little odd to begin with but I'm sure he'll get used to it !! Good luck with the pipeline!

Now she has a great new job and wishes she had moved sooner. Hope your OH gets sorted soon.

Guest
thanks everyone, for the good wishes about Ian's job. I helped him write his CV with some guidance from my sister (who does it for a living) and although it's not in verse, it's pretty impressive! I'd give him a job I can't believe he put his mum's phone number in as a contact number though, some boys never grow up! Good job I proof read it! Behind every great man, is a great (and smartly turned out) woman
Rona
What a fantastic treat and what a lovely, generous man you have , he so deserves to get a great job - once he's had a little bit of time off to spend with you and the girls.

Ange1
Sorry to hear about Ian, Poet. I didn't know you were tall. I shop in LTS, sometimes as I find it rather expensive! I'm 5ft11" how tall are you?! I like the denim skirt though, not to badly priced, what a lovely treat!
jlo
Hope things are sorted soon. Must have a look at the new LTS stuff. Can't go too mad though as I bought a load of stuff from there in the sale not so long ago!
