They are expensive because Howies is a designer label of sorts (skate/surf brand) but also becuase they are very much into quality and making things that will last. I really like them as a company, lots of minimal chemical use and recycling policies. Really trying to approach consumerism in a different way.

 

Not sure I would pay £20 for the bags though...

Nice designs but the t-shirts with same pics on them cost the same amount if you look, and they're much nicer. Better value too, IMHO. I like the chicken one.

They're way too expensive. It would be so easy to get some calico and run some up on the sewing machine and do my own designs.

I have a Snowy bag too, and it is lovely.

 

I am often stopped and asked about it.

 

I "won" it in an auction for the BHWT which makes it all the more special.
