Weird, weird, weird!!!

Recommended Posts

I've just been out to collect the eggs, and it's my first 3 egg day (hurrah, 7 months and one of the girls has never laid!).... BUT...the third egg looks like a joke dog-poo. Seriously, you can see it's an egg, but it's coiled and solid with bumps all over it.

Can anyone advise how I can attach a photo, seeing is definitely believing!!!

Is it that the last of the girls is finally getting her egg-laying tackle into gear?!:lol:

Erm, wow!

So what was inside?

Just rubbery albumen - looked like calamari at first and then when I pulled it apart, it snapped went gloopy. Really yucky.

I can only think it's the hen that doesn't lay, trying but not quite getting it right!!!

Facebook says no I'm afraid.

Try 'right clicking' on the image (Or holding ctrl and click if you have a mac) go to 'open image in new tab' or 'open image in new window'. Go to top of page (Where you type a web address and copy the long list of type that appears when viewing your image. Copy this into your message here. Has worked for me. Should be lo-res on facebook already.

OMG how bizzare !!!

it looks like she has been constipated bless her hope she laying normal eggs now

Believe it or not, she doesn't usually lay - she's nearly a year old now and we've had one 'fart' egg and now this. I suspect she won't lay anything now after this experience

Her comb is very small in comparison to my other two girls, and she has very pale 'ears'. I think she may be sterile if she's not laying yet, but we still love her :D

It looks like Snoopy with a suntan  Poor girl, fancy laying that  Let's hope her next attempt's better.

Oh crumbs, that says a lot about me that my first thought was it looked like dog poop! Snoopy with a suntan is much politer
