Egluntyne
I thought the girl in the pink dress who didn't understand that it was not worth coming back next year was tragic. Poor kid. It wasn't that she was refusing to believe what they were saying, there was no arrogance about her, .....she plainly just didn't comprehend.. susanbb
That's the bit that's difficult for me. Lovely girl but did not truly comprehend did she I did enjoy Holly on Xtra Factor. She really seemed to enjoy herself
theherd123
I dont watch this show as im always way too embarrassed for the contestants who genuinely think they can sing, i just have to turn over.
Rhapsody
Caught up with the re-run last night is it me or does Dani look deeply scary like a ventriloquist's dummy where only the lower jaw moves...lay off the Botox luv, you're a pretty lady. BeckyBoo
OH reckoned she'd had a face peel - she did look a bit raw round the edges but then she's got competition now from the lovely but scarily thin Cheryl!!
Yorkshire Pudding
Cheryl needs a good meal. Preferably several. She's a bonny lass but so thin that her head appears one size too large for her body. Friends once passed by Cheryl and the rest of girls aloud in a hotel lobby. Apparently all of them are absolutely tiny.

susanbb
I always promise not to laugh, but everytime I look at Louis and he's trying to keep in the giggles, that just sets me off
Ain't Nobody Here
I do feel horribly voyeuristic watching those poor souls who have no talent whatsoever . But I still watch it . What was that girl like with the mouth the size of Dartford Tunnel .
deejmum
What was that girl like with the mouth the size of Dartford Tunnel She certainly had confidence in herself! I could see her in some kind of jazz musical.
Cinnamon
Wasn't that young lad Liam, who winked at Cheryl wonderful? I liked the 'sob story' fostered guy too - he could certainly model if he doesn't get a career singing..........phwooooooooooooar
Egluntyne
You don't often come across such self deluded arrogance as that displayed by the holiday camp singer......or a gob as big....literally, not metaphorically. One thing I learned from her....if ever I decide to audition I shall have my fillings changed from NHS amalgam to white beforehand.
Ain't Nobody Here
That wasn't a pretty sight . She was truly flabbergasted that they didn't think she was fantastic, wasn't she .
Snowy
That wasn't a pretty sight . She was truly flabbergasted that they didn't think she was fantastic, wasn't she . I was just lost for words when she sang! I do cringe at some of them and feel so sorry for them, but she was so self deluded it was untrue! Phonix
where do these people get their confidence from - i think i need a very teeny tiny little bit of what they're having just to give me *some* confidence! Have you seen all the stuff in the news about the sob-story-foster-guy??? x
Ain't Nobody Here
No . What are they saying? Anybody who's ever met him telling tales, presumably .
Louise
Apparently it was his grandmother who brought him up from the age of 18 months rather than going into foster care age 4 His father also said he spoke to him on the phone every week so he always knew his real parents But this morning he is saying his real childhood was even more traumatic than the sob story he gave the judges Don't think he will go that far if he keeps being economical with the truth
Egluntyne
No....turns out he may have used a bit of artitic license when it came to describing his relationship with his birth parents. He knows them and they know him. The editing of the programme may have made things look worse apparently.
Ain't Nobody Here
How naive are people, thinking they can be economical with the truth on a TV programme? Don't they know the truth will always out .
Phonix
I think the sob stories are always the worst thing about that programme - i mean do these people not realise that if they tell any sort of story it is inevitable that it will be edited awfully to make them seem more pathetic, egotistical, stupid or just to make people more sorry for them. I mean look at Rhydian - they edited him to look soooo egotistical at the start thinking that he wouldn't get very far but it turned out that he was good and was a really nice person and not at all the way they portrayed him at the start. They just need to shut up and sing! lol x
susanbb
I'm with you regarding the stories. It seems to be every programme like this has to go down that track. I enjoy it when it gets to the finals and the countdown to Christmas...................but that's another thread
Phonix
yup I love the live weekly singing/voting off (although i don't vote ) I think im one of the *boring* people who do watch it for the singing rather than the drama/stories! xXx
