Egluntyne
Blimey Scrambled! I'm relieved to hear that your brother is OK. What a nasty shock for your parents. Well done for being such a support to them, and for helping with the preparations for the bbq.
Ain't Nobody Here
Oh my word, what a fright you must have got . I'm so glad he's alright - was his friend OK too? Lucky that Baby made it home in one piece too . Could have been a very different outcome .
Snowy
Gosh what a day! Glad your brother is OK! Sounds like he may have some aches and pains today though - often it is next day when you stiffen up following an accident like that. I also have a naughty hen - spent saturday afternoon putting a new, chicken proof fence around my flower bed. Bella didn't even notice it, straight over the top. But at least the others can't follow her now and she doesn't do too much damage alone

Scramble
Oh my gosh! What a day! Glad to hear your brothers okay, and Baby. I have to admit I thought you meant a REAL baby, like a human baby, not a chicken So, what are you going to spend your £50 on?
Looney
Blimey It's all go around you at the moment! I bet you're exhausted!! £50 is a good plus point though - enjoy spending it!
Mumpty
Sorry to hear about your awful day, have to agree with scramble, I thought you meant a real baby Glad you brother and his mate are ok. I have to say that as a mum of a nearly 18 year old daughter, I have to agree with your parents and don't like the idea of a tongue piercing, won't it get in the way when you eat? Egluntyne
My daughters friend had her tongue pierced. She got into dreadful difficulty with infection and swelling. Please think long and hard before deciding to go ahead. How are your brother and his friend today?
Egluntyne
Good news all round...except about the insurance. I expect your brothers friend is still in shock, poor lad.
Looney
I've decided against the tongue piercing. My dad said he would be "dissapointed" and said "I'd rather you didn't, if you do though, you might want to think about the consequences, and by that I mean your hens." . So I'm staying just the way I am . I'm not against tongue piercing at all but decided not to get mine done (this was a few years ago) as it can be bad for your teeth - honest! Wearers tend to play with their piercing in their mouth and it can wear away the enamel - or so I've been told! Glad your brother is ok.
