A couple of answers:

I think it might be a chapter of clergy.

Mel, I am watching The Convent. This weeks was good, but the last two were not! It's not a patch on The Monastery and I think that's because it's all women! That might be unfair actually. There's also the sticky problem of the two who volunteered to live like nuns for 40 days and then seemed surprised that they were expected to live like the nuns, even refusing to do so! They haven't opted out - they just never opted in! I'm ashamed of them!

I agree. This week's programme showed us a lot more of the nuns and was much better. I find Vicky - the one with the 'happy threesome' - very tiresome though. She spoils it all for everyone.

I was on duty when they arrived back at Stansted yesterday. They parked the aircraft away from the terminal so only people like me could get near it. Saw all the southern based players get off and into the waiting fleet of limo's. I was yards away from Lampard, J Cole, A Cole (and Cheryl!), Campbell, Bridge, Crouch, Beckham, Lennon and Carrick (including the wags!, oooh...errrr). Funnily enough, the northern based players like Carragher and Gerrard came down to say their goodbyes before reboarding the same aircraft and heading off to Manchester, whereas Mr Rooney stayed onboard out of sight. Funny that.

Sorry, didn't watch the footie - The Boy went down to the pub though - I could hear the shots from all over town when it went to penalties. Phil came back and started on a rant until I pointed otu that I was SO NOT INTERESTED

Back to the religion thing... Phil was asked last year to be godfather to one of his nephews (they know that Phil's not religious) he declined on the grounds that it would make him a hypocrite as he couldn't swear on something he didn't believe in. He still supports and guides his nephew regardless of not beign his godfather.

I'm sure he would do nothing else Clare :!:

I'm bemused as to why some beleive that the "godparents" are the people to have the welfare of chldren in this world (or the next) at their heart. Anyone with a close tie of friendship would automatically assume this role, it's just a natural part of friendship :!:
