I have no idea what I paid for it before that so don't know if it's gone up in price.

mrsallen08
We've been buying the one thats been in Pets at Home. It is a good brand though I think - I cannot tell you name as the whole lot goes in a huge container and then we use the sack for garden stuff! Sorry! Sure it was between £7-8 but thats for 25kg which even at £8 a bag is 32p per kilo! Our pet shop sells it at 50p per kilo so definite saving by buying in bulk! Guest
I bought a sack from Pets at Home once but took it back as it was 3 months out of date already when I bought it! I've never bought there again.
The Dogmother
The rising prices of grain and fuel have driven up the price of feed. I get mine from Cotswold Chickens (Allen & Page organic pellets)
Yolky
I use the same feed as claret (organic a&p) and it was £10 for a 20kg bag.
Steph101
I've been paying £11 for the organic layers pellets, the same ones that Omlet sell, and I get mine from M & M Feeds in Romsley, Clent.
MedusA
About a week ago, I paid £7.15 for a 25 kg bag of D&H layers pellets at my local horsey store. I dimly remember paying about £5.85 not that long ago, so they have gone up in price. I really like the D&H pellets. Although not Organic, they are Vegetarian Society approved, have no GM ingredients and my girls seem to prefer those to any others I've tried. Mrs Webmuppet
I paid £12 something for a 20kg sack of A&P pellets a week ago at my local suppliers. I noticed the price of auboise had gone up too. Since I got the chooks in February the prices seem to have shot up (I started off paying about £17 for a sack of pellets & bale of auboise it's now £21!) Debbie26pet, I was told that the pellets and corn are a standard item at Pets at Home but they don't always have them in stock. Our one has them by the wild bird feed.
