I bought two sacks of feed the other day. Asked 17 year old son to get them out of the car for me and take them to the shed. No problem, and he even tipped them into the feed bin for me!

 

Only when I next went to refill the grubs did I realise he had tipped the new feed on top of the feed scoop, which is now somewhere at the bottom of the bin underneath all the pellets

I love teenage boys ! they can combine enthusiasm with lack of thought so that they are exasperating but endearing at the same time.

 

Hope you didn't say anything to him, it was lovely of him to sort the feed.

our DD will be 20 next week so officially no longer a teenager maybe will even learn how to put a clean duvet cover on her own bed. DS will be 17 next month & will do everything I ask him to do to the letter, so I have to be careful how I put things, so its my fault if it all goes wrong I love them both to bits, its great fun having them & their friends around, sort of reminds me of when I was their age, not that they believe I was ever their age

Snowy, if you wiggle your feed bin around in a circle your feed scoop should come back up the the top again, (in theory). Saw a similar trick on a smaller scale on a TV programme-it's worth a try.
