Jen&Rog
So much for doing any work today; as usual when I'm worried about my girls that's all I can think about. I've spent the whole day preparing various favourite meals, trying to get appetites back.. to no avail. Poor old Linda, I think old age is getting the better of her, I'm actually beginning to think she's had a stroke or something - she can see OK, but it's like her brain doesn't compute, and she's struggling to eat - keeps missing the food, pecking in the wrong place, whilst the others hoover it up. And poor little Strawberry has a misbehaving crop - the vet said it's rather too dangly (excuse the medical terminology), she's having trouble digesting things - the muscles aren't working properly and now she might have sour crop. I've been literally drip feeding water into her beak. Silly girls don't know what's good for them! Fingers crossed they're all there in the morning, but I'm fearing the worst. I know there's nothing more I can do for them, and glad it's the weekend so I can fuss over them to my heart's content.

Carol U
That's really sad poor you. I do hope things will improve tomorrow. You feel so helpless when pets are ill. I'll be thinking of you. Best wishes xx
