Who is the stig????

Recommended Posts

I think there's something very appealing about a man in nomex...hubby used to be a rally driver, and the sight of him in nomex...swoon....it's the same with bike leathers - he's also a biker and I often tell him I'm happy for him to wear his leathers about the house if he wishes.....

I say !!

hubby used to be a rally driver,

8) I would love to be a co-driver but get sick being a passenger going round a roundabout :lol:

oooh you wouldn't do well in with hubby then, he's a very quick (but safe) driver....I remember many years ago, when I was still a primary school teacher, I was taking my class on a school trip, and stayed the night at hubby-to-be's parents....we overslept

I got up and realised I was 45 minutes from the school and we only had about 35...he said "Don't worry, we'll take the rally car".....he had a bright yellow ex-works Ford Escort rally car, with the stickers on, the rollcage, the lot....he drove me through these twisting country lanes to the school at what seemed like the speed of light....the final bit came down a long hill with a series of bends and the school was at the bottom, so you could see bits of the road from the school car park (where the bus was parked, full of children and the other teacher who didn't like me anyway  )....hubby was hurtling down this hill and the exhaust system was roaring and popping away, he came flying into the carpark and did a handbrake turn into a parking space....my beloved kiddies were shrieking and cheering and were all on one side of the bus (looked like it might fall over at any point!)....but I just wish you could see the other teacher's face....it looked like thunder. From that day I was the super cool teacher to the children, but the other teacher never spoke to me again, up to the day I left!! :(
