AMS
Hello Does anyone know where I can buy the squidgy, cut-out snowflake ribbon that Nigela uses to decorate her Christmas chutney jars (page 234 of Nigella Christmas)? I must have (!) this ribbon so I have my fingers-crossed that an Omleteer has spotted it somewhere. Thanks in advance, Alison Edited November 4, 2008 by Guest
Cinnamon
There is a list of suppliers in the back of the book, or maybe you could try ebay?
Egluntyne
John Lewis usually has a good selection of this sort of thing.

I have also e-mailed domesticgoddess@nigella.com so hopefully they will know the answer. I have spent far too many hours searching the internet for this ribbon but I am determined to find it Alison

AMS
I didn't worry about P&P ... or the cost of the ribbon... how many AUS$ are there to the £ ?! When I checked out there was no mention of P&P charges (domestic or international) but the drop-down boxes had the UK as an option when registering my contact details. I half-expected an e-mail from them overnight but nothing. I will e-mail them now and offer to pay more P&P - I don't want them to send it surface mail Ax
Cinnamon
That is very good news. I found Nigellas 'people' to be very helpful when I was trying to track down a metal sign from the Christmas book too Have you seen that the ribbon comes in red too? Lesley
We are lucky to still have a good Haberdashers in Stratford - and they have some beautiful Christmas ribbons, I was talking to the buyer on Saturday. It might be cheaper to drive up to Stratford Cinnamon! (I didn't see one like the snowflake one though)

Ax Wow that snowflake ribbon is lovely - I don't have Nigella's book, so I was none the wiser!! Re these adorable little wooden shapes, I have a lovely little chap near me, who does his own wooden cutouts. I'm sure they are much cheaper than 99p each plus £1 p&p, if memory serves correctly (doubtful at this hour ), he has a good selection of shapes too, bells, holly etc. They are blanks, so you can put whatever you like on them too - although these are very pretty! Would you like me to pop in & see.....? Can get some & post them if you'd like. Let me know. For the record, he also does loads of non-Christmas shapes too.
