Mrs Frugal
My current Uggs are in sand and although they look lovely, I think the chestnut ones are sooo smart!! I did umm and ahh about the offroad ones so I'll be interested to hear how nice they are - I might get some next time!!
JM
I will let you know tonight when I get home!! I was fed up of having cold shins in my cold house!! I had a hard job not buying an outdoor pair too! Well - my Celtic Sheepskin house boots (or house boats as my OH has christened them ) are great - I love them already! They are ideal for my draughty house! They aren't Australian - they are British - so even though they are more expensive, in terms of carbon footprint they are cheaper (or at least that's what I'm telling myself!!). Nice warm feet and legs now! (I bet the cold weather doesn't come back now!) J

But DON'T use fabric conditioner - they'll go rock hard !!

Reikiranf
If any of you wanting Uggs have a TK Maxx near you go and have a look there, after reading a similar thread I went along looking for a pair of Bearpaws as Uggs are out of my price range and I was amazed to find a pair of genuine Ugg Australia boots on the floor under the racks for £59.99 I bought them and looked them up on line when I got home and the rrp is £159.99 and the cheapest I found them for was £114.99 Now.........what do I do with the money I've saved
Cinnamon
I actually went to my local TKMaxx yesterday, & liked the Bearpaws, but they only had pale pink in my size Shame,as I would have snapped some up had they been a more practical colour for me
Ms Marple
What about these? http://www.nznature.co.nz/product/supertread-chloe-sundance-sheepskin-boots I like the look of the soles on these, they look more likely to stop me falling over. This tread has intrigued me and so I have read around abit following the advice of others and at the end of the day I am still confused. I guess the answer is you see, you like? Then buy!! I am quite tempted by these. Do you have to have really skinny calves to get your jeans to fit inside the boot? I am a slim person but am 'blessed' with milk bottle calves
rachel19
I have the tall uggs and the are a tightish fit on me with skinny jeans but also have largish calves so you should be ok.....i guess the different makes vary though
Omletina Kyckling
I actually went to my local TKMaxx yesterday, & liked the Bearpaws, but they only had pale pink in my size Shame,as I would have snapped some up had they been a more practical colour for me I bought Bearpaws in black with a really chunky sole and have been wearing them for a few weeks and they are fab!! I've never had Uggs or anything before so can't comment on what the other premium brands are like, but the BPs are great!
Moonie
My celtic boots have just arrived, but are too small.
Cinnamon
Oh no! Is it just that the fluff inside needs squishing? My Crocs mammoths were too small for me until I had worn them for a day By the way, there are some nice bargain Bearpaws on ebay

Cinnamon
I had a look at those Cardys in town this morning & I can report back that they are really very nice, but don't seem to have a very grippy sole I really must stop looking at Ugg sites now (& at this thread!) I like the design and fit much better than Uggs. They were £39.99 but as the left one had a small stain on the suede, I got them to knock a few quid off. I reckon they will be mucky in no time anyway, the way I abuse shoes, so was worth it! Thanks for the tip.
Phonix
I had a look at those Cardys in town this morning & I can report back that they are really very nice, but don't seem to have a very grippy sole I think they've got the same sole as the classics that ive got and ive never had a problem with them being slippy - although I think there was a mention on a thread on here that some people had had that problem. My friends got them in brown and they are sooo nice and look really good on!!! I really must stop looking at Ugg sites now (& at this thread!) Noooo!!! keep looking around and posting then you get the best prices lol!!!!

Cinnamon
It was in a clothes shop in Reading called Bank. Very nice, but I never knew they sold Uggs - none of my usual Ugg outlets had them as they had sold out
Phonix
Bank does student discount too if you know anyone with a valid NUS card you can get 10% off and I assume it applies to Uggs as it applies to all other labels! You can get the cardys in Office too if you have one of those near you Paola??
