One incident involved an ex of mine who did a jump and his parachute candled his spare opened in time. Scary though. I'd love to paraglide. There is a place called Fell End in Lancashire. I used to live close by and you could watch the paragliders. I've wanted to do it ever since. I really must sort that out for myself! The scariest thing I ever did was stand next to my then 15year old daughter as she launched herself on a bungee I can tell you that HER life flashed in front of me. Her local sailing club has a race on first Sunday in Jan ( they call it The Bloody Mary) and if you capsize you're out!!! Still people end up in hospital with hypothermia. Mrs Webmuppet Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 I haven't quite got to the stage of trapezing of an 800 yet but I have had a ride on one, for some reason my harness wouldn't hook in - I think the elastic was dodgy on the trapeze line. But I have trapezed off an RS500 in open water - very fast and hard work. Little Miss Webmuppet is a mean little sailor and has ' wired' off a Stratos a few times..........maybe she will be a 'blonde in a boat' in a few years!
