Well woke up to this, this morning

 

 

Took two hours to go 15 miles to the Horse and then double back on myself to go to work

 

Its been so cold here over the last week that when I drove home tonight and saw the temp was only at freezing i thought well thats a lot warmer than it has been

I hope you haven't been affected by the gas cuts today. I heard on the news earlier that a lot of homes in the borders are without any heat whatsoever brrr

It is a gorgeous view right in the valley on the Tweed, but the weather quite often leaves a lot to be desired, and we have frequent power cuts.

 

Thankfully we're ok up here for gas but my friends in Kelso about 45mins South have had none since yesterday and they're not sure if it will be back on tomorrow. BRRR

Snowed here yesterday, now it's crunchy and hard.

We had a powercut last night for two hours so sat huddled round the woodburner in the kitchen.

What a gorgeous view . We have snow too (and more forecast for tomorrow ) but it isn't as pretty as that .
