Relief....

Enjoy the fact that it's over and the very best of luck to everyone doing exams :D

One of the few joys of being old(er) is that you don't have to do that sort of thing any more unless you choose to - and if you choose to, you've only got yourself to blame :D

I've just got back from college having done OCR advanced text processing exam today :D Every time I do an exam, I and the other ladies always say, why oh why do we put ourselves through it. I am looking for a job so thats my reason. I think I get more nervous now than when I was younger

Phew. French exams Hmmm I got an E in my GCSE mocks and a B in my actual GCSE's (I did do rather a lot of revision in the end though  ) I asked for a battery for my teatowel in my actual spoken exam though (I racked my brains for the word for Torch and remembered hearing the word Torchon - which turned out to mean Tea-towel. Credit to the examiner, he kept a straight face!)

what bits are there to an oral exam now?

we had to answer Qus that we'd prepared before - we got about 5 sets of 25 and were asked about 3 sets in the exam, then a pre-prepared presentation and an unseen scenaro.

I got asked 3 sets of qus and one was ones that I really couldn't answer but thanmkfully I got asked those last but not all 25 of them!!

My presentation was on Holidays and i was really lucky that my unseen one (pick 1 of 3 closed envelopes) was on holidays too! lol

Well done Fred and Kitbag!

Role play - With 1 unprepared question. (you have 10 minutes to prepare before the exam)

Pre-prepared Presentation (done at home) - 90 seconds long. (but you are only allowed bullet points to help jog your memory)

Questions on presentation - 90 seconds long.

General conversation on any two of: Home Life, School, Work Experience, Leisure, Family, Future career. (there might be more...)
