dancing cloud
Well worth pestering for! I'm very happy with mine and when you do get your hens, the eggs look really good on one off these
stoice
I've asked for one this Christmas. (They sell them in the omlet shop too Ygerna) My mum has let slip that I've definitely got one too! I often get my parcels delivered to her address while I'm at work, as my dad works from home and can sign for them. Last week she says 'there's a parcel from omlet here for you' 'what parcel?... oh wait - I KNOW WHAT THAT IS!' You could tell she had gone red even though we were talking on the telephone at the time. Doh. Still, it's going to be a great Christmas pressie even if it isn't a surprise!!! Ain't Nobody Here
Did you know it's an Omleteer who makes them? (Well, her OH but she sells them!) May I just mention too (groans all round from longtime Omleteers!) that the photos on the website are all mine . Not that I'm proud of them or anything . poachedegg
I've got one too and its fab! When we first got it, because it is called an egg skelter, oldest son (17) thought you just put the egg at the top and let it roll.....and it did......straight onto the floor! so one broken egg......then because he didn't think he had done it properly - he did it again.....2 broken eggs on the floor! Willow
May I just mention too (groans all round from longtime Omleteers!) that the photos on the website are all mine . No mention of the egg skelter would be complete without the reminder I think they are a great idea but storing fresh eggs out of the fridge finally provided a use for a wooden basket I'd been unable to resist a couple of years before but could never find a use for
fowlbird
I'd love one but we just don't have worktop space for one I tell you what else I'd like... I had to buy eggs this morning ( the shame! ) and got the Old Cotswold Legbar. I'd love a couple of the hens but OH says we don't need any more because we rarely use the eggs. I argue that we can just give more to the neighbours but he doesn't see it my way...
Jules.
May I just mention too (groans all round from longtime Omleteers!) that the photos on the website are all mine And what great pictures they are, too Egg Skelters are cheaper ordering them direct from freddie, rather than through Omlet. Omlet haven't been selling them that long, when I got my skelter earlier in the year it was £18.99 icluding p&p.
MedusA
I've had my grey egg skelter since the early days too and I'm really pleased with it even if the Silkie eggs are a bit wobbly, being so small. I wish I hadn't looked at the link though, because I hadn't realised they now do them in green and cream (which would perfectly match my kitchen). I'm blaming ANH, for mentioning that it's her pics on the website, and stimulating my curiosity.
