Couperwife
ok, ive a confession Ive bought some clothes well, in my defence, my mum came up over easter hols and we sorted my wardrobe out (translated to - ive binned 8 binbags of clothes ) so, yes, youve guessed it, I had nothing to wear so apart from the shoes (Ive binned 2 pairs as replacement up to now ) ive bought 4 cheepy tshirts and a pair of black trousers (£5 off). considering that this is the first purchase this year - ive done amazingly well cathy x
Chook n Boo Mum
I bought 2 new vest tops the other day to make a couple of "tshirt" topped dresses with silky skirty bits, to replace the one which I am rapidly killing off (with the aid of chook & dog feet!) They were £3 each at Tesco I think. Is this against the rules as they are replacing old..... ? The fabric for the skirts was about £10, and as the original dress was £25 last year, I'll be getting 2 dresses for the price of less than one. Christian
Well done Cathy! It really does make a difference to the bank balance doesn't it? I haven't bought anything, apart from a book at the airport for holiday reading (but used a voucher I got for my birthday). Bank balance isn't looking too healthy at the mo, but would look far worse if I wasn't doing this.
Tessa the Duchess
You are all doing so well I was doing well, only bought new birthday presents for the family and then I foolishly went to Ikea Actually it could have been a lot worse, I bought a throw for the bottom of the bed where Google the cat sleeps as she deposits leaves, bits of garden debris of all types which get in her long hair, it is easy to just shake the throw out of the window. I also bought a dog blanket for Polly, really nice and soft and furry and fits perfectly in her dog bed. 400 t.lights and a wooden lazy susan and that was it. craftyhunnypie
It's bank holiday weekend & all I've bought is some needles to sew my knitting together - 79p! Not even been anywhere exciting. Hubby has spent more than me by ordering some fruit trees. Think it's time for a little splurge today! Emma.x
Guest
I didn't buy anything on holiday other than drinks and a little internet access and managed to spend just under £100 in the week. I think I did great considering I was IN LOVE with a diamond ring in the on board jewellers! Oh but I did buy 3 books before I left.
Couperwife
golly, another month I have had a little bit of a shop I bought some more shoes - but, the first pair that I got off line were too big, so they have to go back (schue - so I have a whole year ) and I am still not sure about the ones that I bought when I was at the metro centre (SIL has a lot to answer for ) I got some stuff from a charity shop and I think thats it still feeling very pleased with myself, Ive noticed that im thinking before spending sooo much more. I used to buy magazines, dvds, cds, books at the drop of a hat, now im not cathy x
