Angels4
I found this searching for prebuilt walk in run ideas. www.chickenmobilestagecoach.com I think it's kind of cool
Egluntyne
Seems a well thought out design. It looks a bit like a Prairie Schooner.
Ain't Nobody Here
I quite like it . Seems like a good design . I wonder if they've seen the eglu and jumped on the bandwagon! (It's vastly better than that dustbin affair .)
Lesley
I like it!
Chook n Boo Mum
I like that, maybe I can convince DH using that as an idea.......thanks Mark! It looks like a cube might be able to butt up to the back if you remove the nesting box? Are you seriously considering it, or merely an idea amongst many? How's your snow, how long would you expect it to last - we only had the slightest sprinkle over the weekend. There was more up at DS's boarding school, so he will no doubt have been out for a play if it's still hanging around, lucky little thing Sha x
clootie
I like it too but I think I'd paint it another colour !!
Chook n Boo Mum
Looks like you can have it "bare" so you can paint it yourself..... Sha x
Chook n Boo Mum
Just showed it to DH & he's showing signs of being impressed ! Also said it was reasonably priced. Not convinced it would be big enough for 10 chooks though I will bookmark it & drag it up at various points in the future to get inspiration, thanks again Mark Sha x
Groovychook
I like it! It would look fab in purple!
chelsea
I really like it, love the shape/design and the colour its in. I agree though that I wouldnt keep 10 hens in that size run.
ClaireG
I like it to, i do agree that the run is to small for 10 though.
MedusA
I like it. Reminds me of an old fashioned gypsy caravan.
Willow
I like it ! and easier to move around. I only moved the eglu around for the first few weeks as it's a bit of a faff and I realised by leaving it a week between moves i'd just suceeded in killing at lot of the grass in my garden (and it's 180ft long so it was getting new areas)

As far as the weather here, it's quite nasty, we had another few inches of the white fluffy stuff, but right after the snow fell it rained, and then froze, so now the streets are like an ice skating rink. I can live with the weather until I leave for my cruise to the Caribbean on Saturday.

I am quite , not of the skating rink, that I wouldn't wish on anyone, but the Caribbean, never been there and never likely to either as DH is anti-airports (he's fine with the flying, but not the security checks, crowds & queues for everything!) and I am not that happy with water, maybe I should try a short cruise one day to see if I can overcome the water issue! tiggerlady
Wildmum I too dont like the boaty thing too much but we have booked to go on a short cruise round the med this june as a taster with a view to the caribbean in the future! Angels4
I have never been on a cruise myself, but from what I understand you wouldn't even relize you were on a ship (unless of course you are out on deck) the BIG ocean liners are very "stable", i'll let you know how I get on. Like your OH, I could certainly do without the airport, I just have no patience for all the same reasons, add to that the fact that I'm a terrible flyer, it makes for an awful day, BUT once I reach my destination, I think it will be worth the aggrevation We should see about getting our fellow Omleeters to take a cruise. With a group our size we would certianly get a discount, then you could leave the OH at home to take care of the girls...
