Mrs Frugal
Oi, hands off! I spotted him first!! Saying that, I fancied him more in the book before I'd even seen the film - how weird is that!!
Lesley
I'll stick with Monty Don

Popcorn
Gosh, and you're so modest about it all Anna! I'll look out for your Dad on the TV, then tell all my friends! Orlando doesn't do it for me either Lesley - but I do remember seeing Monty Don for the first time on Good Morning a few years back and thought he was yummy. I also LOVE the city gardener - what a dish !! I wonder if Orlando would mind being passed around so you can all have a bit

Emma
Now, now girls lets not fight over this That's what men want us to do. It's something to do with them being insecure and needing women to praise them all the time Also, sadly, they think they're god's gift to women How anyone can fancy Monty Don is a mystery to me When I read LOTR i always liked Samwise and the actor they chose is just as I imagined him(infact he's quite like my husband ).........but Orli(as he likes me to call him) is mine. Mrs Frugal
Yes, I always had a soft spot for Sam Gamgee - such a selfless hero! I still fancied Aragorn though .
Autism
I know I'm a little late coming in here but I was a bit amazed at all of the above LOTR is one of my fav movie's of all time We live near the NEC and a lot of celebs stay up the road from us at "The New Hall Hotel" I can now spot Pavaroti's helicopter when it fly's over my house (wonder if he's seen my green eglu? , often see Robbi Williams at the local curry house, Gerri Halliwell once flicked a cigarrette at me (well towards me) in the ladies loo at above hotel, have sat on Jim Davisons lap (o.k thats not much to bragg about ) sat opposite Barry Manilow (oh Mandy.............) and many more............ But Never Seen My Fav...........................................Johnny Depp..................Corrrrrrrrrr............ who's lap I would gladly sit on and more........................ Will this post need moderating girls???????? Jane ( with a fabulous immagination) x
motherhen
I think we are ok on moderating this one. The teenage omleteers will take one look at mum-age women (well ok, so some of you were schoolgirl mothers!) drooling over younger male stars and turn quickly to another thread, making gagging noises as they do so. Re Emma and Legolas. Having decided to avoid pistols at dawn with Kate over Aragorn, I think that since Legolas will look good for hundreds of years that we can take turns. Since I suspect I'm the oldest Legolas fan I bags him first. You can have him when I've finished Emma Anyone know his address btw??
buffie
We have experience on our side...That's the most important. I have several friends with around 14 years age difference (men being older, yes really!) so if I found a chap 14 years younger...Oh no he'd 25 and you know what I think that'd would bore me to tears!! Being shallow ...if he were famous and gorgeous well you have to keep your options open!! I saw Liam Neeson in central Park a few years ago. Go to Milton Keynes and collectormania (prob wrong name) you see loads but it's sad seeing stars from LOTR selling autographs for £20! I want them all to be real, living in middle earth and eating lambus bread (my bread is a bit like that, small slice keeps you going for a month!) Popcorn
How could I forget Johnny Depp - now I will fight you for him Jane Didn't realise you lived so close to the NEC - have you got some good bins!
Autism
Gina, when I say close it doesn't mean I can see it from my house Is that what you mean by "bins" As for Mr Depp...............he's mine all mine...............
